There’s a special time of year.  A time when almost everybody wants money.  A time when the few left over are looking for last-minute tax deductions.  A time to think about the less fortunate and their lives that are so much harder than our own.  A time to feel guilty, or superior, or regretful, or completely powerless against the ocean of differences that need to be made, or dizzy because we’re never all that far from the edge.  And a time to feed ourselves excessively so if we’re the next to fall we’ll have that memory to hang onto.  Or to just make a mockery of organized orchestrated sentiment in an episode like this.
